Day One: Entebbe - Jinja

After landing at Entebbe International Airport, guests can either choose to fly or drive 3 hours to the Source of the Nile –Jinja which is situated directly at Lake Victoria. For those who choose to drive, we will stop en route at a rainforest for a walk. There, you will see different types of primate birds as well as colourful butterflies. After Mabira Forest you will proceed to Owen Falls, which is the source of the Nile, and have a sun downer before dinner to end the first day.

Day Two: Kakira Nile Polo Club

The day you play polo has finally arrived! Jump into the car and the driver will bring you directly to Kakira Nile Polo Club, only a 30-minute drive from Jinja. Here you will meet the KNPC family of horses and their owners, who will try to get you on the grass as quickly as possible!Please note that you should specify the number of days you wish to spend playing polo at KNPC, after which the rest of the safari itinerary will follow on below.

Day Three: Jinja

Ready for a full day of adventure? Then start rafting at the source of the Nile. Day three will include a full or half day of rafting with experienced instructors. For those who don’t want to raft, you can proceed for a hack along the banks of the river Nile or in the sugar cane of Kakira. There are also ample opportunities for seeing an incredible range of birds along the river Nile. The day will end with dinner at the lodge.

Day Four: Jinja – Murchison Falls N.P.

Beginning with a panoramic drive northwest, stop and visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which was created to re-introduce Rhino to Uganda after their extinction in 1982. After lunch, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park for an afternoon drive in search of game. That can be followed by a chill out at the pool with panoramic views of the Nile. Have a visit to the spa to end a long day, before heading off to bed.

Day Five: Game Viewing Safari – Murchison Falls N.P.

After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive to the heart of the Murchison Falls National Park where your guide will help you spot the plethora of wildlife. After lunch, you will sail upstream by boat along the river Nile, side by side with crocodiles and hippos. . Hundreds of animals are seen drinking at the water's edge, offering an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 600 recorded species having been spotted. You will return in the evening, just in time for a rest before dinner.

Day Six: Game Viewing Safari – Murchison Falls N.P.

After breakfast, visit the top of the Murchison Falls, where you will see the Nile's beauty perfected as you watch the mighty river be forced through a sever meter cleft in the rocks and plunge 45 meters below. In the backdrop, you will see a spectacular rainbow. Return to the lodge for lunch and for a rest and siesta. In the late afternoon you will venture on a game drive through the Borassus Palms plains, a visual feast where game is much easier to spot. Later you will retire for dinner and overnight accommodation at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day Seven: Murchison Falls N.P. – Kampala
